Nicolas Baker
Designer & Operator

Nicolas is a Brazil-born interior designer with an Associate’s degree in Interior Design. After graduating, he launched his own design studio, where he spent five years refining his creative voice and building hands-on experience in residential and commercial projects.
Following his move to the United States, Nicolas expanded his expertise by immersing himself in the building trades—learning flooring, painting, carpentry, tile work, and cabinetry firsthand. This practical training gave him a deeper understanding of how design comes to life beyond the drawing board.
Today, Nicolas brings together both worlds—refined interior design and skilled craftsmanship—through Fox Haus Design Studio, where he blends aesthetic vision with real-world construction knowledge to create spaces that are both beautiful and built to last.
Lauren Baker

Lauren is a New Mexico native with a BA in Theatre and Literature, and a background shaped by both storytelling and performance. She further honed her creative perspective studying acting in London, developing a strong sense of communication, empathy, and presentation.
After college, Lauren built extensive experience in customer service and administrative support, where she developed a talent for organization, client relations, and seamless day-to-day operations. Her ability to anticipate needs and create positive, engaging experiences makes her a natural fit for working closely with clients.
As Studio Manager of Fox Haus Design Studio, Lauren blends creativity with structure—serving as the welcoming front end of the business while ensuring projects run smoothly behind the scenes. She brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach that helps transform each design experience into something both personal and effortless.
